Crusade Introduction

For the initial entry for my blog, I guess it would only be appropriate to tell you a little about myself. My name is Keena & I currently reside in Detroit, MI (also referred to as the MOTOWN or the Motor City). I live what one would consider a pretty good life, I have a great group of crazy friends & family, work for a great company, and have had the opportunity to chase my dreams with more than marginal success. Over the last few months however, due to a series of events (I will have to clue u n2 those another time), I have been more determined than ever to make the most out of my life. We all hear too often that LIFE is short, but the realization of this fact has driven me to make some changes and attempt to CARPE DIEM (Cease the day). Shortly after this realization I was offered the opportunity to live overseas for 3-6 months, and I jumped at the chance!

Therefore, Ladies and Gents...I'm off to Korea!!!

Yep that's right! Keena is on a crusade to Seoul, Korea!!! Webster's dictionary defines a crusade as an enterprise undertaken with zeal and enthusiasm. That is exactly how I feel about my upcoming voyage to Korea! I am TOTALLY EXCITED!!!!!

Throughout my life, I always seem to find humor in lifes everyday experiences. I expect it to be even more so when faced with the challenge of dealing with a completely different culture. Hopefully, through sharing the stories of my daily life in Seoul, it will help to add a smile or two to your week and find a deeper appreciation for our culture & others.

So stay tuned to my blog! Send me a message or two, ask me questions & I will share my experiences with you along the way through photos, videos & stories!

Enjoy!

Keena

Hey Keena!
thanks for stopping in and commenting on my blog! I'm interested in your impressions on Korea. I hope you will grow to love it as much as I do. 3 months isn't very long, though! My first 3 were hell! If that happens to you, just wait! It WILL get better! :) Good luck and God bless!
